Want to save yourself an unnecessary emergency service call, check these few things first:

• Check the emergency oil burner switch and make sure it is in the "on" position
• Is the thermostat set for above room temperature
• Check for power, blown fuses, and circuit breakers
• Make sure you have oil!
• You should press the red reset button ONCE only!
